How our website is accessible
We work hard to make sure that our website is fully accessible to every visitor. We want to make sure that your experience is a good one, so on this page you will find information showing how our site conforms.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Instinct Hardware is fully conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Fully conformant means that the content fully conforms to the accessibility standard without any exceptions.

General Help
How to change the website text size.
To increase the text size on the Instinct Hardware website, simply choose the View tab in your browser, then from there you can either select your preferred text size, or increase the font size.
Alternatively, holding down your ctrl key and using your mouse wheel will either increase or decrease the size of the font.
How to change the colour of text.
If you are struggling to read the text because of the colours on our site, and need to change this, or simply to increase the contrasts – you can do so by selecting the Tools menu at the top of your browser, then selecting Internet Options. Click the Accessibility button the tab that comes up, a menu will then give you the option to disregard the existing page format. Then, return to the first Internet Options menu, and re-format the page using the colours and fonts buttons.
Images
The images on our site will have an alt text description, to tell you what the image is showing. Using your mouse, place the cursor over the image. This will cause the description to pop up.
Navigating the site
You don’t need a mouse to navigate through www.instincthardware.co.uk – you can simply use the keyboard.
PgUp and PgDn allow you to scroll through all the information quickly, or you can use cursor keys to navigate up and down the page.
The tab button takes you through the page links – or from one item to another.
Pressing enter/return will allow you to select the link.
